The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) conducted the governorship election in 29 states, except in Edo, Osun, Ekiti, Ondo, Bayelsa, Kogi, and Anambra States.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), recently announced the PDP Candidate Nyesom Wike as the Governor-elect of River State which is the last of the states declared inconclusive.

However, we have taken time to update the Stand of the parties after all 29 States have been duly decided by INEC. Below is a breakdown of how the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and the lead opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) shared the states. Out of the listed 29 states, APC won 15 while PDP clinched 14.
